Hi,
I’m Lisa.
What you will find here often focuses on personal transformation, community growth, and healing; and spiritual formation. 
Because I grew up a pastor’s kid (a PK) the great big questions of existence that also involve meaning were always primary in my life, in my thoughts, and my ways of learning to be more fully human. My writing, resources, and passions still center on this.
A scripture passage that helps guide my life is in Galatians, chapter 5:13-26.
Verses 22-26 are especially potent:
The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.
Things I like: creating, learning, reading, building relationships, writing, traveling, kayaking, walks, being in or near water, and other ways of being outdoors. Volunteering, especially in my homeland of Puerto Rico with the organization Mi Patria. When sharing with groups, I like participatory gatherings and shared-inquiry teaching; and mentoring/spiritual friendships/companioning is important to me.
My fondness for conversing with interesting people like authors, scientists, and spiritual leaders prompted me to start a weekly podcast/broadcast in April 2015. New programs air every Wednesday. I hope you can listen in. So far, I’ve released over 550 episodes and people in 189 countries tune in. ❤️
