They are <em>berry cool<\/em>.<br \/>\n(shout out to Strawberry Shortcake, yo!)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What&#8217;s so interesting about grapes is that only taste like grapes if they are eaten fresh or squeezed into (unfermented) grape juice at just the right time, with few exceptions. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u2022 Fermented grapes seldom\u00a0taste likes grapes <\/strong>(among those few exceptions\u00a0are\u00a0Muscat, Niagara, and Concord). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u2022 Instead, once grapes are\u00a0<em>wine <\/em>they\u00a0taste like a whole variety of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">fruits and other things.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The chemical compounds in fermented grapes are even more complex than blood serum and taste far better (unless you&#8217;re a vampire).<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-15701\" src=\"https:\/\/lisadelay.com\/blog\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/2854238804_a8b92961e9_z-300x226.jpg\" alt=\"2854238804_a8b92961e9_z\" width=\"300\" height=\"226\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lisadelay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/2854238804_a8b92961e9_z-300x226.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lisadelay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/2854238804_a8b92961e9_z-350x264.jpg 350w, https:\/\/lisadelay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/2854238804_a8b92961e9_z-150x113.jpg 150w, https:\/\/lisadelay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/2854238804_a8b92961e9_z-600x452.jpg 600w, https:\/\/lisadelay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/2854238804_a8b92961e9_z.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Wine takes on characteristics of many different sorts of fruits, depending on the variety and where they have been cultivated.
