This is an Update Post<\/strong> to the recent post called “Will this STORY have a Happy Ending?”<\/a><\/p>\n

Well, in a word…”no”. (It won’t.)<\/p>\n

My Kickstarter Project to travel and document My Journey to the STORY conference in Chicago was rejected by Kickstarter… something about projects can’t be for “general” travel expenses.<\/em><\/p>\n

It’s disappointing to not be able to go and be there when my essay about Little Free Library will be shared with everyone.<\/p>\n

I tried to make it work out to go and that failed. I feel low.<\/p>\n

But, the truth is I’m always up to something.<\/h3>\n

There is no failure that doesn’t have a nearby victory, though maybe in a different sphere. For instance in just 1 one, I’ve raised 10% of the funds need for a different Project at Kickstarter for the next 29 days and you can see it here<\/a>. You’ll learn something about crowd-sourcing in the process too.<\/p>\n

I’ll be sharing a “how-to” in a few days.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
