Eps 180: Jesus of the East; Guest, Phuc Luu

Today, I’m delighted to introduce you to Phuc Luu (pronounce his name- Fōō Lēw). Born in Southern Vietnam, Phu escaped with his family after the war, when he was young, and grew up in Houston. He is a theologian, teacher, podcaster, and artist. His book “Jesus of the East: Reclaiming the Gospel for the Wounded” has opened my eyes to a kind of Asian Christian Liberation Theology that adds much richness to my understanding of what God is up to. It’s must-read! Listen to our important conversation. When you pitch in as a supporter, the Book Chapter contents, links to people mentioned like Andrew Sung Park, Bradley Jersak, Anthony Bourdain and Han, and more can be found in the extras HERE: https://www.patreon.com/posts/39207680 😃.
