Poetry by its form and delivery can create space and time for reflection giving us a chance to feel clarity and more abundance. Today I share 3 poems that give us a most extraordinary look at ordinary things that mark our lives and weave them tougher by a talented woman who is a sage for us especially in more difficult times.
Joy Harjo was appointed the United States poet laureate in 2019. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1951, Harjo is a member of the Mvskoke/Creek Nation. 🚩and accept my apologies, in this episode I mispronounce Harjo with a Spanish silent “J”. <HAR-joe> is the correct way to say this poet’s surname.
